Once again we were at Point Walter, walking along the spit, when my grandson Eli called out, “Granny, Granny, take a photo of me jumping for your painting!”
“But,” I said, “I’ve already painted you all jumping on this spit!”
Nevertheless, I took the photo – and it was a very good jump.
When Eli’s birthday came around in February and I was wondering what to give him, I remembered that photo and decided to paint it for him. He was pretty pleased with his gift, and it also prompted three of the girls to put in their own requests for paintings. 😊
