After completing Jana’s portrait drawing course, I decided it was time to paint some faces. My husband, Denis, had also been reminding me that not every painting needed to be a landscape!
These two granddaughters were persuaded to strike a pose at the dog beach near Leighton Beach in Fremantle. It took a little patience to capture the moment, but I was pleased with the finished result.
Painted as a gift for their parents, this artwork captures a carefree day by the ocean and the joy of childhood.
