Earlier in the year, my sister and her husband visited us from Canada, and one of our outings was to see the Giants of Mandurah. On our walk back from the last giant, I took a few photos of them strolling hand in hand beneath the beautiful gum trees.
Later, knowing we would be visiting them in Canada in August, I thought this scene would make a special gift. It captured not only a lovely day we shared together, but also a quiet moment that reflected their relationship so beautifully.
They were both very touched by the painting, and I was delighted to know it would become a lasting reminder of their Australian visit.
