After seeing the painting I had done for her brother, our granddaughter Mila quite reasonably wanted to know why she didn’t have one too!
Then I saw this photo of her, taken in a doorway somewhere around Fremantle, striking a pose that was just so typically Mila. I knew straight away that I had to paint it for her.
I love that the painting captures not just what she looked like at this age, but a little bit of her personality too.
