This was another of the three small paintings I created for my friend’s open garden event.
When I replanted this part of our garden, I was hoping to create a lush, tropical feel. One day, with everything growing and flowering beautifully, I looked at it and thought I’d finally achieved what I was aiming for. Naturally, I took a photo to paint from!
Hence the name, Tropical Tangent.
This one also sold at the open garden event, which meant all three paintings found new homes.
