Some of you may remember a photo Kelly posted in early June 2024 of this incredible rainbow over the ocean, taken during her morning run near Trigg. Some of you may even remember me asking her if I could paint it!
This is the result.
I altered the original photo slightly to add a Kelly-looking runner to the scene and called it God’s Promise Near Trigg – partly because I wanted the title to make clear that this extraordinary rainbow really did appear near Trigg.
At 40 × 30 inches, this was my biggest painting yet, and I was very happy with how it turned out.
