I had this canvas and was looking for something to paint on it when I remembered I’d been wanting to practise painting flowers entirely with the palette knife. I found a photo of a colourful bouquet and decided to give it a go.
Jana thought the arrangement was perhaps a little too tight, which I tend to agree with, but I was very pleased with how it turned out. I particularly enjoyed using the palette knife for the roses and building up all that lovely texture.
And I was very happy when it sold!
